SIN IS ITS OWN MATH, and God alone calculates the cost and what to do about it. We know this much: the wages of sin is death. Look at the world. Look at how crazy it is. Look at abortion, the deaths of millions of innocent babies. Funny how most of it links back to something as harmless as casual sex, right? Fools, we sowed what we now reap, and evil's spread is the direct result of our rebellion and the funeral pyre of all that stinking, unredeemed sin, and only Christ can stop what's coming.
But I don't think He will.
I think time has run its course, because people are insatiably selfish and that won't change, and enough is enough already. We had one thing to figure out and get right — our need for a Saviour. Jesus came, He died on the Cross, and rose from the dead to give us victory over death, and yet many continue in their secret ways, preferring darkness to light (Jn 3:19).
All I know is evil is roaring like the flood waters at Asheville, pulverizing everything in its path ... and elections won't fix anything. The Devil is strutting, Christ is on His way, and in-between promises to be something so awful that we don't even have the words for it.
Forget your plans.
Drop everything.
Settle up with God.
And pray:
Heavenly Father, save us from ourselves, forgive our sins, convert the world, and crush Evil. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Forget your plans.
Drop everything.

Pray.
